2 story 3 bedroom 3 bath home with dated finishes needed full renovation to match the increasingly upscale neighborhood

The initial sketch elevation provided a touchstone for the development of the design. Conceptually we wanted to add a logical hierarchy to the facade and stronger point of entry. We intended to keep the original mass while adding a great room and master suite.

Massing is resolved through the addition of intersecting gambrel roof. Cedar shingle siding and stone veneer add a richness to the material pallet of the facade. A strong point of entry leads directly into a great room with stair access to the second floor master and guest suites. Now a 6 bedroom 5 ½ bath this starter home is transformed into a forever home for a growing family and their guests.
